A rather repressed lady, Poppy rarely sits on laps but when she does, she will reach out and pat your hand to indicate that she requires stroking.

Amazingly “Eric” qv who when he stays with us is allowed to sleep in her basket when she has vacated it.

Changes in routine
The black and white bruiser 2 doors away
Sadly, 2 jolly little Burmese people who came to live with her 4 years ago [even though they do attempt to keep the black and white bruiser out of the garden]

Things she does:
She has several feline gentlemen callers but has always been very involved with the local fox population and much prefers to romp with them than other cats.

 Bad habits:
Jumping on the bed at 3.00 am and insisting that I go downstairs with her either to feed her or let her out. If a prompt response does not occur, she withdraws to the landing to carry out fairly comprehensive destruction of the carpet for several minutes before returning to jump on the bed and so on - she is capable of keeping up this cycle indefinitely until I surrender.
